Craigie and Duncraig Leisure Centres are closed
Recently, the Australian Government announced that some facilities will be restricted from opening from midday local time on Monday 23 March 2020. This includes gyms and indoor sporting venues.
This announcement means that with sadness, we have closed Craigie Leisure Centre and Duncraig Leisure Centre from Monday 23 March 2020, until further notice.
City of Joondalup Leisure Centre customers who want to stay up to the date with the latest information about Coronavirus are asked to visit the news section on the Department of Health website.

With the COVID-19 situation changing on a daily basis, we are simply unable to say how long the facility will remain closed for. We will continue to monitor the advice provided by the Australian Government and will provide updates to customers whenever possible.
How do I stay up to date with the latest information during the closure?

What will happen to my membership?
All memberships will be automatically placed on suspension, with no fees, for the duration of the closure. You do not need to complete a Member Request Form.
What date will my membership be frozen until?
At this stage, your membership will be frozen until further notice. With the COVID-19 situation changing on a daily basis, we are simply unable to say how long the facility will remain closed for. We will continue to monitor the advice provided by the Australian Government and provide updates to customers.
I would like to cancel my membership. How do I go about this?
To cancel your membership, complete the Member Request Form and a team member will be in touch with you.
What will happen to my swimming lesson?
Swimming lessons have been suspended since Thursday 19 March 2020 and will remain suspended during the closure, with no fees to our customers. You do not need to take any action to suspend your enrolment. If you wish to cancel your enrolment, please complete the Cancel My Lesson form.
Are Platinum Adventure activities and excursions still running?
All Platinum Adventure activities and excursions have been cancelled until further notice. This decision has been made due to an increasing number of cancellations from activity and excursion suppliers and to minimise risk to our participants. All customers who are enrolled to attend a Platinum Adventure activity or excursion during this time will have their fees credited to their account. You will be able to use this credit anytime in the next 12 months.
What will happen to team sports?
We have made the decision to cancel the remainder of the summer sports season. Teams who have already paid fees covering games from Wednesday 18 March 2020 to the end of the summer season will receive a team credit for a future sports season.
What will happen to my short courses enrolment?
We have made the decision to cancel Leisure Short Course classes for the remainder of term oneduration of the closure. Customers will be issued with credits that can be used for future Leisure Short Course bookings within the next 12 months.
I have a regular booking at Craigie or Duncraig Leisure Centre. What will happen with my booking?
Can I suspend my multi visit creche, spa or swim pass?
The leisure centres are not able to suspend multi visit creche, spa or swim passes. Instead, expiry dates of visit passes will be extended for the duration of the closure, to enable customers to utilise their passes on their return to the centre.
