Swimming Pools
Craigie Leisure Centre is a great place for lap and recreational swimming. All of our pools are temperature controlled, using energy efficient geothermal heating.
Pool Facilities
- Indoor 25 metre lap pool, 8 lanes (27-28 degrees, 1.2-1.6 metre depth)
- Indoor leisure pool (32 degrees, 0.0-1.1 metre depth. The walking lane is 0.8-1.1 metre depth)
- Outdoor 50 metre lap pool, 8 lanes (26-27 degrees, 1.1-1.8 metre depth)
- Outdoor children's water playground
- Spa (35-36 degrees)
- Saunas (80-90 degrees)
- Steam room (45-50 degrees)
- Free poolside barbeques
An aqua wheelchair, adult change table and ramp pool entry are provided to the indoor 25 metre pool, outdoor 50 metre pool and leisure pool.
Aqua Inflatable
The aqua inflatable is available every Sunday from 12.00noon - 1.00pm.
The aqua inflatable is recommended for children over the age of six.
Pool Lane Availability
Plan your swim in advance by viewing the pool lane availability.
Please note:
- The walking lane in the outdoor 50m pool will be unavailable Monday – Friday between 5.30am – 7.30am.
- A designated walking lane is available at all times in the leisure pool.
- Leisure space is available at all times in the indoor leisure pool.
Spa Lounge
The spa lounge includes a spa, saunas and steam room. There are also two saunas by the outdoor pool. The spa lounge and outdoor saunas are an additional charge area - please purchase your pass at reception on entry. Use of oils and scents is not permitted within the spa lounge.
Safer Swimming Guidelines
Craigie Leisure Centre is an accredited Watch Around Water facility.
- Children under the age of 11 years must be directly supervised in the facility at all times by a responsible adult.
- Children aged under six years must be accompanied in the water by a parent/guardian at all times, within arm’s reach.
